Who we are

I have been in the music repair industry since 2007 apprenticing with Marine Corps Band Instrument Repair technicians for 3 years. In 2010-2011, I attended Minnesota State College Southeast and completed the band instrument repair course and went on to serve as a repair technician for the U.S. Marine Corps field bands until my retirement in 2024.

I completed an Associate’s degree in Band Instrument Repair from Minnesota State College Southeast in 2018. I continued my education in the repair field receiving a certification in piano tuning from the American School of Piano Tuning. I also completed the Straubinger Flute and Clarinet padding course.

I am a current member of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians (NAPBIRT), an organization that promotes maintaining the highest standards of wind instrument repair through sharing ideas and offering continuing education opportunities for technicians in the field.

I believe that music unites us in ways that few other mediums can. Music cross all boundaries of culture and language. As much as listening to music can heal and express emotions in ways words are not able to, playing and participating in making music touches a person’s soul.

It is my goal to help musicians of all levels maintain their instruments so that making music is as effortless as possible.
